Culbertson Hills Golf Resort is a Resort 18 hole golf course located in Edinboro, Pennsylvania.
The Culbertson Hills Golf Course first opened for play in 1930. The course was designed by Tom Bendelow.
The course has full growth towering trees. Ponds come into play on three holes. The fairways vary in elevation. The signature hole is #6, a 549 yard par-5.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,813 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,514 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 9, a par-5 that plays to 581 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 16, a par-3 that plays to 165 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 9, the 581 yard par-5 challenge is the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 18, a 360 yard par-4.

Outstanding layout that will challenge scratch golfers, but it is still very playable by high-handicappers. Great variety of holes - some tight, some fairly open, all on rolling terrain. Played it after a very wet spring, and condition was still pretty good. If you like classic, US Open-type courses, you are not going to find a public course much better than Culbertson Hills.

Due to economic conditions and the loss of the hotel on property, this course is not getting the play it used to and is suffering somewhat. The condition is fair still and was enjoyable. The layout is great and challenging. I would play again.
